There was a loud footstep creeping up the stairways.
Emjay and Lina hid under the drawers, panicking, unaware of what to expect. They were told by their parents to stay at the elephant section of the zoo, but with the let lose animals rampaging, they had to make a quick escape, the elephants were wild, and they couldn't risk running outside along with the dozen crowd of frantic visitors, instead they took a quick detor into the building where the animals had escaped, up the staircase, and down the isle of elephant visage.
This was it.
Emjay was only 5, and Lina his older sister held tight to his heavy breathing mouth. She was very immature, but desperate measures call for desperate times. She was a girl scout and was fast on her action.
