How to deal with tantrums?

Dear Mums, Please be nice to your children, and show them the unconditional love they deserve; However this doesn't mean that you don't have to discipline them. Yes, by all means teach children that they have to follow moral codes, and behave well. Some parents are far too nice to children, as though they gave birth to their own slave Master (This is a sign of the day of Judgement approaching in Islam). Mothers need to show care, compassion and respect to their kids, by raising them in an environment where this principle is demonstrated well, where their surrouding is examplry to being an ideal citezen, however, one question i just cannot simply answer is, HOW TO DEAL WITH TANTRUMS? I am not a mother? no non noooooo, lool i'm just a lil teen, but my brother moans and cries and gets his way, same with my neice, and i think that there is a solution to this out there? -ignore them? -Place them in naughty corner? -Tell them off? NOOOOOO, the most effective is naughty corner on the stairs, but it is the duty of the parents to show consistency of this feared naughty step. This is the food for thought...
